Fertilizer
Many plants require more than a dozen nutrients for optimum growth. Fertilizers supply the most essential nutrients to plants. To differentiate qualities and applications we offer colorants for fertilizers and mass coloration.

Seed treatment
Coloration of seed coatings and active ingredients gives the opportunity to measure the level of pesticides and identify seeds. In addition, enhanced appearance is another benefit of Clariant pigments and additives, allowing customers to visualize high quality and efficiency of seed treatment. Waxes reduce dust and improve the lubrication of the seeds in the sewing equipment.
We offer a wide range of colorants for waterbased systems, and solvent based systems which partly also fulfil the US positive list EPA 40 CFR §180.1001.
Crop Protection
AGROCER-specialty waxes are a new class of adjuvants (agents added to an active ingredient to increase or aid its effect) in crop protection. Under certain circumstances, they can be used in raw materials in pesticides. Especially in solid formulated pesticides they can encapsulate active ingredients and provide slow release mechanisms.
The main use of water based wax formulations is in the application of tank mix additives that possess film forming properties. They can enhance penetration or give sticking effects depending on the type of wax being used. As a result, the performance of pesticides can be enhanced by using waxes.
